In this interactive session, the audience will have the opportunity to learn what it means to be an effective manager/leader. At the end of the presentation, the audience will be able to identify the signs of what makes an individual a great leader and understand how communication & time management are essential to being an effective manager as well as be able to identify and use their own unique management styles effectively.
Marcellus Proctor is the Associate Chief in the Electrical Engineering Division at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (NASA/GSFC). He is an enrolled member of the Piscataway-Conoy Nation, located in southern Maryland. As the Associate Division Chief, Marcellus strives to make sure that resources are allocated to employees to support them in building flight hardware for Earth & Space Science missions. Marcellus is the current Co-Chair of the American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) Government Relations Council (GRC), Lifetime member of the Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE), AISES, and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Mr. Proctor received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
